General information on this scholarship
General Description
The University of Athens will grant three scholarships from the proceeds of the bequest DIMITRIOY TRIKOULI to needy male students in all medical schools and students in all Polytechnics in the country, originating from the village Pragmateftp Kynourias or hailing from the village Pragmatefti Kynourias The monthly amount of the scholarship is € 117.39. The scholarship may be interrupted if, for whatever reason it is deemed necessary to bring about a reduction of the annual revenue of the Endowment. According to the Decision of 07.12.2007 Academic Senate, the maximum family income of the applicant, when the criterion for the award of the fellowship is defined as Euro 25,000 for income from liberal professions etc. and € 35,000 for employment income, increased by Euro 1,500 for each child in excess of two.
Requirements
For the continuation of the fellowship, fellows are required each year to provide a certificate of progress with satisfactory rating. If the scholarship is interrupted by the fault of fellows or if fellows do not receive the degree within one year of the expiry of the time of their studies, they must repay the amount of the scholarship, which have been hitherto (Articles 57-60 of LAW 2039/39).
