About this scholarship
General Description
Within the framework of the DAAD programme PROMOS< the Friedrich Schiller University n Jena grants stipends to support the international mobility o German students and educational residents (Bildungseinlaender). Stipends are intended to support semesters aborad and work placements (Praktika) abroad. The amount of the stipends varies according to the destination country from 250 Euros to a maximum of 500 Euros. Stipends may be received for a maximum of 6 months.
Requirements
Eligible to apply are German students and educational residents (in accordance with §8 BAföG (German Federal Law on Support in Education)) at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena. Applications may be submitted at any point in a student's course of study. Applicants' success will be determined predominantly by their prior academic performance as well as by the value of their planned stay abroad.
