General Description

The University of Augsburg supports women who want to build a career as a university professor. Resources for the realisation of equal opportunities for women in research and teaching are provided by the Free State of Bavaria. In this framework, scholarships are awarded to PhD students for a maximum of one year. The support amounts to 1.200,00 EUR per month. In addition, a childcare allowance is paid if necessary.

Requirements

The scholarship is aimed exclusively at female PhD students of all disciplines at the University of Augsburg. At the time of application candidates need to be in the final phase of their PhD. Above-average academic performance is necessary.
