About this grant / loan
What the Loyola Masters aid gives you
You get a discount of 10% to 75% on your monthly tuition fees for a master's or doctoral programme at Universidad Loyola in Andalusia, Spain. The discount is not cash. It works as a 'prestamo al honor', an interest-free loan (0% interest). The university lowers your monthly fee payments, and you repay that reduced amount later. Repayment starts one year after you finish, in 20 monthly instalments. The aid covers one academic year at a time and comes entirely from the university's own funds. It covers only the ongoing monthly tuition, not the registration or reservation fee.
Who can apply
- Level: You are enrolling in, or already studying, an official master's or doctoral programme at Universidad Loyola.
- Field of study: Any master's or doctoral programme the university offers.
- Financial need: The exact discount depends on your family income per person, based on last year's income tax data. Lower income means a higher discount, up to 75%.
- Academic: As a new student, you must not already hold an equivalent degree. If you are continuing, you must have passed a minimum share of your credits, which varies by field.
- Nationality: All nationalities can apply. If you live outside Spain, you submit an extra exchange-rate proof for your income figures.
How to apply
New students apply by email using the application form. Continuing students apply through the online form on the university website. For the 2026/2027 year the window for new students runs from 18 May to 18 September 2026, and for continuing students from 1 July to 18 September 2026. The grants committee sends a provisional decision by email, which you can appeal within five working days.
How realistic are your chances?
This aid is only for Universidad Loyola students, and the discount is scaled to your family income. If you are admitted and can document a modest household income, you have solid prospects of a meaningful discount. Remember that renewal is decided each year on updated income data, so the support is not automatically guaranteed for the full programme.
