About this scholarship
What you get
The Fondation AgroParisTech, a public-interest foundation, runs two separate one-off grants for students at AgroParisTech in France. The Mobility grant pays a single sum of 500 EUR to 2,000 EUR to help you cover a study or internship period abroad. About ten are awarded each year, most recently between 900 and 2,000 EUR. The Attractiveness grant is a larger one-off payment for international students coming to study at AgroParisTech. In 2025 four students received 4,000 EUR or 8,000 EUR each. The amount is set to fit your own budget and needs. You can receive a foundation grant only once.
Who can apply
For the Mobility grant (going abroad from AgroParisTech):
- Where you study: You are enrolled at AgroParisTech in an engineering degree, master, specialised master, specialty certificate, CEI or gap-year internship (césure-stage).
- State grant: You already hold a French state grant based on social criteria (bourse sur critères sociaux du CROUS).
- Your plan: You go abroad for a study stay or internship as part of your course, between 1 February 2026 and 1 February 2027.
- Priority: You are favoured if you have never studied outside Europe and have no other grant (such as Erasmus). Low-carbon travel counts in your favour; flights within Europe are discouraged.
For the Attractiveness grant (coming to AgroParisTech):
- Nationality: Open to international students of any nationality.
- First time in France: You are coming to France for the first time.
- Admission: You meet the entry requirements for an engineering degree, master, specialised master or specialty certificate at AgroParisTech.
How to apply
For the Mobility grant, apply through the Oscar online platform by 1 March 2026 at 23:59. The foundation's selection committee decides at the end of March. Applications sent by email or post are not accepted. For the Attractiveness grant, contact your programme head (responsable de formation) at AgroParisTech, who forwards your application to the foundation. The next round opens in May 2026.
How realistic are your chances?
Both grants are narrow: you must already be tied to AgroParisTech, either as a CROUS-funded student going abroad or as an incoming international student. With only about ten mobility grants and a handful of attractiveness grants each year, the pool is small but so is the number of awards. If you clearly fit the criteria, prepare a coherent budget and apply early, your prospects are solid. This is especially true for the mobility grant if you have no other funding and plan low-carbon travel.
