Erasmus+ Movilidad Internacional - FUESCYL

What you get

FUESCYL (a public foundation of the Castilla y León regional government in Spain) funds study placements and internships abroad for students and staff at member art schools in the region. The grant covers travel and additional living costs. The exact monthly amount is worked out individually for each placement and is not published in advance. Two formats are available: short placements of two to three months, and longer-term Erasmus PRO placements. Destinations have included Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal and other EU countries.

Who can apply

• Your school: You study or work at an art school in the FUESCYL consortium in Castilla y León - for example, an Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño or the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático.
• Your programme: You are enrolled in higher arts education or a vocational arts programme. Recent graduates qualify for some calls.
• Your subject: Your field is design, conservation and restoration, dramatic arts, music, dance or a related arts discipline.
• Staff: Teaching and non-teaching staff at consortium schools can also apply.

How to apply

Apply through the international coordinator at your own school; they submit your file to FUESCYL. For the 2025 cycle the deadline was 19 December for students and 12 December for staff. Longer Erasmus PRO placements run on a separate schedule. All applications are ranked; a provisional list is published first so you can appeal before the final list is confirmed.

How realistic are your chances?

Eligibility is tightly defined: you must be at one of a specific set of art schools in a single Spanish region, in an arts discipline. That narrow pool means fewer people compete for each place than in a broad national scheme. If your school is in the consortium and your field matches, your chances are genuinely good - provided your application is complete and on time.
