Graham Educational Fund

You get a one-off bursary of up to about 1,150 EUR (up to £1,000) to help cover the cost of studying or training in Glasgow for one year. A bursary is a grant you do not pay back. You can spend it on living costs, travel, and books or equipment such as a laptop. The fund is run by Foundation Scotland and hands out a total of about 11,500 EUR (£10,000) each round.

Who can apply

• Where you study: You study or train at a college, university or training provider in Glasgow, or you plan to. This can be a degree, further education, an apprenticeship or other training.
• Financial need: You are in financial hardship, and money problems are stopping you from starting or continuing your course.
• Field of study: Any subject and any type of training.
• Name: Anyone who fits the other conditions can apply. You no longer need to be called Graham.

How to apply

You apply online through the Foundation Scotland portal, with your supporting documents, by 23 June 2026. Decisions are made in September 2026. Apply as early as you can: if demand is high, the fund may close before the deadline once the money runs out.

How realistic are your chances?

This award is cut narrowly. You must study or train in Glasgow and show real financial hardship, so the eligible group is small. With a total pot of around 11,500 EUR and up to 1,150 EUR each, only a few people are funded per round. If you clearly meet the conditions, can document your need, and apply early, your prospects are reasonable.
