About this scholarship
What the Türkiye Scholarships Ibni Haldun programme gives you
You will receive a monthly scholarship of about 420 EUR for 12 months to undertake a Master’s or PhD programme in the social sciences at a Turkish university. The Turkish government (YTB, the Agency for Turks Abroad) will also cover all your tuition fees, provide you with free accommodation in a student hall of residence, arrange free health insurance, a one-year Turkish language course, and a return flight from your home country at the start and end of your studies. The term ‘social sciences’ is broadly defined here: economics, banking and finance, international relations, law, political science, Islamic theology and Turkish language and literature all fall under this category.
