About this scholarship

ERDIS Marche top-up for studying abroad

You get an extra monthly payment on top of your ERDIS Marche student grant for the time you spend studying abroad. This is not a stand-alone scholarship. It is a supplement added to the regular grant (Borsa di Studio) you already receive, and it is paid for as long as your study period abroad lasts, for example an Erasmus exchange. It is run by ERDIS Marche, the regional body for the right to study in the Marche region of Italy, which funds low-income, high-achieving students at universities in the region.

Who can apply

  • You already have the grant: You won the ERDIS Marche Borsa di Studio for the current academic year. Without that main grant, there is no top-up.
  • You go abroad: You take part in an international exchange such as Erasmus, or an equivalent programme.
  • Your university: You study at a higher-education institution in the Marche region, for example the universities of Ancona (Politecnica delle Marche), Camerino, Macerata or Urbino, one of the region's art academies or conservatories, ISIA Urbino, a language-mediation school, or a doctoral or specialisation course at these institutions.
  • Grades: You meet the merit requirements of the main grant, based on the credits (CFU) you have earned.
  • Financial need: Your household income stays under the ISEE and ISPE thresholds set for the main grant.

How to apply

You apply online through your personal area on the ERDIS Marche portal, where you file the mobility top-up request. The deadline falls in December of the academic year. For 2024/2025 it was 19 December. Results are published in your personal area.

How realistic are your chances?

This top-up is not a fresh competition. It is an add-on for students who already won the main ERDIS grant and are heading abroad. If you hold the grant and join an Erasmus or similar exchange, meeting the criteria is straightforward, so you have good prospects if you apply on time. File within the December deadline to secure it.
