About this scholarship

What the scholarship offers

You will receive a variable amount of money from a Danish family trust fund set up by managing director C. A. Iversen and his wife. There is no fixed amount. The fund decides on each grant individually, based on your personal circumstances. The money is intended to cover a specific need, such as your education, further training, starting your career or medical treatment. The payment will be made in November.

Who can apply

This is a family trust. You may only apply if you belong to a specific branch of the Ree and Iversen families.

  • Family ties: You are a descendant of the brothers of Mrs Fernanda Iversen (née Ree) or of Professor Axel Iversen (Doctor of Medicine). People who are or have been married to such a descendant may also apply.
  • Financial need: You do indeed require financial support and can provide evidence of this.
  • A specific purpose: You need the money for a specific reason, such as education, further training, setting up your own business or medical treatment.
  • Field of study: Any topic is fine.

How to apply

Applications must be made using the fund’s application form. You will only receive the form if you enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope. The deadline is 1 October.

How realistic are your chances?

This grant is available to almost no one. Only members of the Ree and Iversen families can apply, so the number of eligible applicants is very small. If you belong to one of these families and can demonstrate a genuine need for a specific purpose, your chances are good, as you will be competing against very few others.
