JADS JMJ Scholarship

You get a 50% waiver of your tuition fees for the Master's programme Data Science in Business and Entrepreneurship at the Jheronimus Academy of Data Science (JADS). For non-EEA students the full tuition is 22,700 EUR per year, so the waiver is worth about 11,350 EUR in year one. You get the same 50% waiver again in the second year if you pass at least 8 of your 10 courses in year one. That gives up to 2 years of support in total. The scholarship is funded by the Sisters of the Society of Jesus Mary Joseph (JMJ), a religious congregation based in the Netherlands. It covers only tuition: living costs, accommodation and travel are not included.

Who can apply

• Programme: You start the Master Data Science in Business and Entrepreneurship, a joint degree of Eindhoven University of Technology and Tilburg University, taught full time in English. The Pre-Master programme is not covered.
• Admission: You are admitted (conditionally or unconditionally) to that Master. You may apply before your admission letter arrives and send it later.
• Nationality: You are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA.
• Financial need: You cannot fully pay for your studies yourself and can prove it with certified income documents.

How to apply

You send your application by email to the JADS Admissions Office as a set of PDF files. Include a motivation letter, proof of financial need and your CV. The deadline is 1 November 2026 for the February intake. Shortlisted applicants are invited to an interview with the selection committee, often via Skype or MS Teams. The decision follows within two weeks.

How realistic are your chances?

This award is cut narrowly: it is only for non-EU students with proven financial need who join one specific Master, so the eligible group is small. If you clearly fit those conditions and can document your need, your prospects are good. The committee weighs your grades, motivation and the interview, so a clear, well-evidenced case matters most.
