What you get

When you enrol at Northumbria University in Newcastle, United Kingdom, you will receive a one-off reduction on your tuition fees. The amount depends on your grades: approximately 1,750 EUR (£1,500) if you meet the lower grade threshold, or approximately 2,350 EUR (£2,000) if you meet the higher one. This is a merit-based grant for students from Qatar. It reduces your tuition fees rather than providing you with cash.

Who can apply

• Where you're from: You are from Qatar or graduated there.
• Where you study: You are applying to Northumbria University in the UK.
• Level: You are starting a Bachelor’s degree, a preparatory programme or a Master’s degree.
• Field of study: Any subject.
• Grades (bachelor level): For the lower-level qualification, you will need 320 UCAS points from your A-levels or 27 points in the International Baccalaureate (IB), whereas for the higher qualification, you will need 360 UCAS points or 29 IB points.
• Grades (master's level): You have an excellent bachelor’s degree: a British ‘Upper Second’ (2:1) or a CGPA of 3.2/4 for the lower degree, or a British ‘First’ or a CGPA of 3.5/4 for the higher degree.
