ISSLS2000 Foundation Scholarship

You receive a one-off cash award for an outstanding degree project (your final thesis) in telecommunication. The money comes from the ISSLS2000 Foundation, one of around 90 foundations managed by KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. The exact amount is shown only inside the KTH scholarship portal after you log in.

Who can apply

• University: You study at KTH, or you graduated from KTH recently.
• Your thesis: You have completed a degree project (thesis) at KTH.
• Field of study: Your thesis is in telecommunication, focused on access networks (the part of a network that connects users to the main system) or services delivered over communication networks.
• Quality: Your thesis is high quality and helps develop the field.
• Programme: Any KTH school can apply, not just one.

How realistic are your chances?

This award is cut narrowly. Only KTH students with a strong telecommunication thesis on access networks or communication services qualify, so few people compete for it. If your thesis clearly fits that topic and is judged high quality, your prospects are good. The award rewards the work itself, so a genuinely strong, relevant project decides the outcome.
