OaHSen Travel Grant

You get a travel grant of up to 10,000 SEK (about 870 EUR) per application to help pay for a study-related trip abroad. The money is a reimbursement: you spend first, then hand in your original receipts. The grant refunds your travel, accommodation and living costs up to the ceiling. Malmö University's Faculty of Health and Society pays it to help its students take part in international activities linked to their studies. You can claim it at most twice during your studies, and only once per trip.

Who can apply

• University: You are enrolled at Malmö University's Faculty of Health and Society.
• Level: You study for a bachelor's or a master's degree.
• Field of study: Any subject within the Faculty of Health and Society, for example biomedical science, care science, criminology, social work or police work.
• Purpose of the trip: Your trip abroad must be study-related. You explain in a short motivation letter (max 500 words) how it helps your studies and future career.
• No double funding: You have not received other funding for the same trip, such as Erasmus+, Nordplus, MFS, Linnaeus-Palme, or grants from the Swedish Council for Higher Education.

How to apply

You apply online through the university's MoveOn portal. There is no fixed deadline, so you can apply at any time. You attach a motivation letter and a cost estimate for the trip. You get the decision by email.

How realistic are your chances?

This grant is aimed at a small group: only students of one faculty at one university can apply. If you are enrolled there, have a clear study-related trip in mind, and have not already taken Erasmus+ or similar funding for it, your prospects are good. Because you can apply at any time, you are not competing at one crowded deadline.
