About this scholarship
What you get
You receive a scholarship to fund further music studies abroad after you graduate from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm (KMH). There is no fixed amount. You work out what you need in your application: add up tuition fees, living costs, travel, insurance and any other costs, then subtract any funding you already have. You apply for the remaining sum. The money covers the period you plan to study abroad. The foundation was set up in 2012 and is run by KMH itself.
Who can apply
- Degree: You have recently graduated from KMH in piano or voice.
- Field of study: Any genre of piano or voice, from classical to jazz to pop.
- What you use it for: You want to continue your training abroad, either at a university or in private study.
- Proof of a place: You have already been admitted to the programme abroad. For private study, you have a written invitation from your teacher.
- References: You can name at least one person who will write a reference letter for you.
How to apply
Fill in the foundation's application form and send it with your documents. You can post it to KMH or email it as a single combined PDF. The deadline is 21 August 2026.
