About this scholarship
Benefit
You get your full tuition fees paid plus a cash grant of about 13,800 EUR (£11,817) for one year of a master's degree at the UCL Institute of the Americas in London. The Institute awards two of these studentships each year: one for UK/EU students and one for international students, so each group has its own place. The Institute is the UK's leading centre for teaching and research on the Americas, covering Latin America, the Caribbean, the United States and Canada.
Eligibility
- Degree level: You apply for a taught master's programme at the UCL Institute of the Americas, for example International Relations of the Americas, Globalisation or Caribbean Studies.
- Field of study: Your programme must be one of the Institute's master's degrees focused on the Americas.
- Nationality: Any nationality can apply. One place goes to a UK/EU student, the other to an international student.
- Grades: You have a strong academic record.
How to apply
There is no separate application. You are considered automatically once you submit a complete admission application, including references, for one of the Institute's master's programmes. The deadline is 30 June.
