What the Lord Kelvin Postgraduate Scholarship gives you

You will receive a research grant of approximately 3,140 EUR (roughly 3,000 GBP) for one year. The School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Glasgow awards this grant to PhD students in physics and astronomy. The funding is intended to support your research work, for example to cover travel to conferences and project costs. It is awarded in addition to the funding that covers your PhD place.
