What you get

You get a one-off cash reward of up to about 1,160 EUR (1,000 GBP), paid to you in your first term at the University of Plymouth. The amount depends on your A-level maths grades: 500 GBP for each A* in Mathematics and 500 GBP for an A in Further Mathematics, up to the 1,000 GBP cap. The university gives this reward to new maths and statistics students.

Who can apply

• Level: You are a first-year (Stage 1) student just starting your degree.
• Subject: You are enrolled on a Mathematics or Statistics course.
• University: You study at the University of Plymouth in the UK.
• Nationality: You are from the UK or another EU country (Home or EU fee status).
• Grades: You have at least one A* in A-level Mathematics or an A in Further Mathematics.
• Timing: You accept your place as your firm first choice before 1 August.

How to apply

There is no application form. If you meet the conditions and accept your place as your firm first choice before 1 August, you get the reward automatically, paid in your first term.
