University of Roehampton - Education Scholarship for men

BA Primary Education Male Student Scholarship (University of Roehampton)

You will receive about 1,150 EUR per year (£1,000) for three years, totalling approximately 3,450 EUR (£3,000) for the duration of your degree. The University of Roehampton in London pays this amount to male students on its full-time Bachelor’s degree programme in ‘Primary Education’. This grant was established because there are few men teaching in primary schools and the university would like to attract more of them. You can combine it with other scholarships offered by the University of Roehampton.

Who can apply

• Course: You are enrolled as a full-time student on the Bachelor’s degree programme in ‘Primary School Education’ at the University of Roehampton.
• Gender: You are a male student.
• Fee status: Your fee status is ‘Home (UK)’. This means that you pay the home student tuition fee rate rather than the international student rate.
• Living-cost loan: You will receive the maximum maintenance loan from Student Finance England. This is an income-contingent loan to cover your living costs.

How to apply

No separate application is required. Once you have registered and meet all the criteria, you will receive the money automatically. This will be repeated every year, provided you continue to meet the requirements.
