Scotland's Saltire Scholarships

You will receive about 2,500 EUR for one academic year at a Scottish university or college. The funding is provided by the Scottish Government in partnership with Scottish universities and colleges. It is aimed at international students coming to Scotland, particularly at Master’s level.

Who can apply

• Where you study: You are coming from abroad to study at a university or college in Scotland.
• Level: You are currently undertaking a Master’s degree or a postgraduate programme alongside your degree at a university. At a university of applied sciences, a ‘Higher National Certificate’ (HNC) or a ‘Higher National Diploma’ (HND) also count towards eligibility. A Bachelor’s degree may be taken into account in individual cases.
• Nationality: They come from the United States, Canada, India or China.
• Field of study: All participants are eligible to take part.

How to apply

You apply directly to the Scottish university or college you wish to attend. That institution will decide who is awarded the scholarship. The application deadline is 01.06.
