About this award / prize

General Description

The Alcatel-Lucent Bell Scientific Award offers an annual prize to the PhD candidate with the most outstanding thesis that makes a significant contribution in the field of information and communication technology. The prize money is €8,000.

Requirements

Candidates must be affiliated with a Belgian University or the Royal Military School. Candidates must have defended their thesis in the year preceding the award. Candidates who have already won a prize for the same thesis are not eligible. Nor are employees of Alcatel-Lucent Bell.
