Benefit

You will receive a one-off payment to cover your study costs if you are experiencing financial difficulties. The fund does not disclose either the amount or the duration of the payment, as both are determined on a case-by-case basis. The Faculty of Pharmacy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Brussels awards this grant once a year. It is named after Jules Herman, a former pharmacy graduate and chair of the ULB Alumni Association.

Eligibility

• Programme: You are studying for the specialist diploma in industrial pharmacy (diplôme d'études spécialisées de pharmacien d'industrie).
• University: You are enrolled at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
• Money you need: You cannot fund your studies entirely out of your own pocket.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.

How to apply

Applications are made through the ULB Student Welfare Service (Service Social Etudiants), which handles the eligibility criteria and the necessary formalities. Applications for financial support are generally accepted each academic year from the end of August to mid-April.
