Derscheid-Delcourt Fund (ULB)

You will receive financial support for your studies at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). The amount of the grant depends on your financial circumstances and the funds available in the scheme; therefore, there is neither a fixed amount nor a fixed duration. The fund may also help to finance an exchange programme or a period of study abroad. It stems from a private donation to the university and is managed by the ULB Student Welfare Service (Service Social Étudiants).

Who can apply

• Degree level: You are studying on a Bachelor’s degree programme (first cycle).
• Faculty: You are enrolled in one of three ULB health faculties on the Erasme campus: Medicine, Motor Sciences, or the School of Public Health.
• Financial need: You are unable to cover the full cost of your studies yourself.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.

How to apply

There is no separate form. Please contact the ULB Student Social Services by email or during a consultation hour on the Solbosch Campus. You will submit your application in person during a meeting with a social worker. Applications are processed during the annual funding period. For 2026-2027, this runs from 24 August 2026 to 16 April 2027 at 13:00.
