Louis Davin Fund grant

You receive a one-off grant of 2,000 EUR for studies or research in economics. The money can go towards your research costs or serve as a study grant, and the Academy can also publish a related manuscript in its own collections. Projects on how regions and local areas grow are especially welcome. The grant is awarded every two years by the Royal Academy of Science, Letters and Fine Arts of Belgium.

Who can apply

• Who you are: You are a researcher in the field of economics in the broadest sense.
• Degree: You must hold at least a Master’s degree from a Belgian university.
• Timing: You obtained this qualification less than 15 years ago, counting from the application deadline.
• Where you work: Or you work at a university or research institute that is wholly or partly affiliated with a French-speaking Belgian university.
• Nationality: Applicants of any nationality are welcome to apply, whether they are from Belgium or abroad.

How to apply

Please send your application and the required documents to the Permanent Secretary of the Royal Academy of Belgium, or apply via the Academy’s website. The deadline for applications is 15 December of the year preceding the award of the scholarship.
