About this scholarship
What the Kattrup Manor scholarship gives you
You will receive a one-off grant. This is intended to promote education, particularly in agriculture or, more broadly, in the environmental sector. It may also benefit children, young people, and those who are ill or in need. The fund does not disclose a specific amount. A sister fund of the same 1845foundation at the Lystrup estate awards grants once a year ranging from 5,000 DKK (approximately 670 EUR) to 50,000 DKK (approximately 6,700 EUR), which gives a rough idea of the scale involved. The money comes from a Danish charitable foundation established in 1845 by Johan Casper de Mylius and his wife Wilhelmine Christiane Ulrikke Mylius.
Who can apply
- Local connection: You were born, grew up, or live in one of these parishes: Buerup, Reerslev, Skellebjerg, or Kirke-Helsinge. This is the key filter.
- Purpose: You need support with your education, or you are a child, a young person, someone in need or unwell.
- Field of study: All fields of study are accepted. Preference is given to degree programmes in the fields of agriculture and the environment.
- Nationality: Applicants of any nationality are welcome to apply. The key factor is your connection to one of the communities listed.
- What else counts: Your grades and financial needs will be taken into account.
How to apply
