The Family Nielsen's Commemoration Scholarship

Familien Nielsens Mindefond scholarship

You will receive a one-off grant of approximately 100 EUR to help fund your studies. This is a small amount of financial support, not full funding. The money comes from the ‘Familien Nielsens Mindefond’, a Danish charitable fund established in 1991 to support young people from the Ringkøbing region who are unable to finance their studies themselves.

Who can apply

• Where you are from: You grew up in the Ringkøbing region (Ringkøbing-Skjern) or have close ties to this region.
• What you study: You are in the higher education section: you are following an academic degree programme, a vocational or university-level Bachelor’s degree programme, a Master’s degree programme or a PhD programme.
• Field of study: Any subject.
• Financial need: You’re finding it difficult to cover the costs of your studies.
• Grades: The fund takes into account both your academic achievements and your financial needs.

How to apply

You should submit your application to the law firm in Herning that manages the fund. The deadline is 28 December.
