Stokkemarke Sogns Menighedsråd - Ms. Agnes Aage's Scholarship

Ms. Agnes Aage's Scholarship

You will receive a one-off grant of approximately 280 EUR, which will be paid out over 12 months. The exact amount varies from year to year, as the fund allocates the resources at its disposal. The grant comes from a small Danish fund established in the year 1901 by the siblings Agnes and Aage, who had left their savings to help less well-off children in their home parish. Today, the fund is administered by the parish council of Stokkemarke on the island of Lolland.

Who can apply

• Where you come from: You were born in Stokkemarke Parish on Lolland, or you live there now.
• Family situation: You have lost one or both of your parents.
• Financial need: You have little or no money of your own.
• Field of study: Any topic is fine.
• Nationality: Applicants of any nationality are welcome to apply. What matters is your connection to the Stokkemarke community.
• If no one qualifies: In a year when there are no applicants who meet all the above criteria, the fund may instead support the education of other, less privileged children who were born in the community or have close ties to it.

How to apply

Ask your parish priest or the chair of the parish council for an application form, complete it and return it to the fund. The deadline is 30 September.
