Johanne and A. J. Andersen's Scholarship

You will receive a grant of up to 15,000 DKK (about 2,010 EUR) to help cover your rent and tuition fees whilst you are studying. The grant is awarded for 1 years. It is provided by a Danish charitable foundation which was established in 1901. Each year, the foundation awards up to 4 grants totalling around 60,000 DKK (approximately 8,050 EUR).

Who can apply

• Background: You grew up at the ‘Brohuset’ children’s home (Børnehjemmet Brohuset) in Nørre Aaby, in the municipality of Middelfart. This is the only criterion that determines who is eligible to apply.
• What you study: Every area of further education.
• Where you study: Any institution in Denmark.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.

How to apply

There is no fixed application deadline. You can apply at any time. The foundation is administered by the law firm Trolle Law in Fredericia, which you should contact to apply.
