What the scholarship gives you

You receive a grant towards a commercial or trade education in Denmark, either theoretical or practical. The foundation decides the amount case by case and does not publish it. It also sets the funding period individually. The money comes from the Grosserer Holger Laage-Petersen og hustrus Fond, a private foundation in Copenhagen that supports students of commerce and trade.

Who can apply

• Field of study: You study a commercial or business subject, such as economics (cand.polit., cand.oecon.), business economics (HA, cand.merc.), or marketing, trade and finance at a business academy (erhvervsakademi). Practical commercial training also counts.
• Where you study: You study in Denmark, at any university or business school.
• Nationality: All nationalities can apply.

How to apply

You cannot apply yourself. Your school or university must nominate you and send the application for you by 28 February. If you have not heard back by 15 July, you were not selected.
