Bruun Commemoration Scholarship

You get a one-off grant for an education beyond basic school, if you or your parents live on the Danish island of Langeland. The amount is not published. It is set to fit your situation, with the aim of being a noticeable financial help. The scholarship is managed by the law firm Borch Advokater in Rudkøbing on Langeland. It spends half of its yearly income on education for local children and the other half on charity.

Who can apply

• Where you or your family live: You, or your parents, live on the island of Langeland. The parish of Lindelse is preferred but not required.
• Study phase: You are currently in an education after the compulsory school years (folkeskole). Past studies are not funded.
• Field of study: Any field is open.
• Financial need: You need the money for it to make a real difference to your situation.
• Returning applicants: If you got the grant before, you have priority.
