Associate Professor Hender and Wife's Scholarship Fund

You will receive a one-off scholarship of DKK 9,000 (about 1,200 EUR) if you graduate from Kalundborg Gymnasium and HF and wish to take up a degree course at a university in Denmark. The school administers the fund and presents the scholarship at the graduation ceremony.

Who can apply

• School: You are due to graduate from Kalundborg Gymnasium and HF this year, either as a ‘school leaver’ (Abiturient) or as an ‘HF graduate’ (graduate of the higher preparatory examination).
• Age: You are under 22 when you graduate.
• Next step: You intend to continue your studies at a Danish university or an equivalent higher education institution in order to obtain a professional qualification (‘embedseksamen’). You must clearly set out these plans in your application.
• Field of study: Any topic is fine.
• Financial need: You must provide evidence of your financial circumstances.

How to apply

Write a letter of application to the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, setting out your reasons for applying, and enclose a financial plan detailing your financial situation. Submit this to the school office by 12 June. The award will be presented during the school’s graduation ceremony.
