Lolland Falster's Industry and Agricultural Bank's Educational Foundation grant

You get a one-off grant of up to 5,000 DKK (about 670 EUR) to help pay for further training, either theoretical or practical. The grant is meant for study stays abroad, for example short or longer courses at vocational, business or technical schools. The money comes from a Danish grant fund set up in 1957 and now run by Danske Bank in Nykøbing Falster.

Who can apply

• Age: You are under 26.
• Where you are from: You have ties to Falster and Eastern Lolland, covering the towns of Nysted, Sakskøbing and Guldborg. If you were born and raised in the area, you have a better chance.
• Field of study: Any subject. The grant is for further training, theoretical or practical.
• Where you study: You study abroad. The grant is meant for courses outside Denmark.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply, as long as you have the required local ties.

How to apply

Send your application by email to the bank in Nykøbing Falster with the subject line "Uddannelsesfond". Use the same email to request the application form. The deadline is 15 May. Only successful applicants get a reply.
