Socialdemokratiet - Louise Ragne's Scholarship

Louise Ragne's Scholarship

You will receive a one-off grant of up to 5,000 DKK (about 670 EUR) for further training. You can use this money to fund short courses, further training programmes or short study trips with a clear learning objective. The grant is awarded by the Social Democrats (Socialdemokratiet), a Danish political party, in Copenhagen. You’ll have the best chance of success if you explain in detail what you intend to learn and how you plan to apply what you’ve learnt within a local branch or association.

Who can apply

• Connection to the movement: You are an active young member or volunteer with the Social Democrats or one of their local branches, and you can prove it, for example with a recommendation from a local committee.
• What the money is for: You are taking part in a training programme, such as a short course or a short study trip, with a clear professional objective.
• Field of study: Any topic is fine.
• University: You could be at any school or university.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• Publication: You agree that the Social Democrats may publish your name.

How to apply

Please apply using the official application form. Please enclose a course or project plan, a CV, a financial plan and at least one letter of recommendation confirming your connection to the movement. The application deadline is 31 December. Grants are usually awarded in the second quarter of the following year.
