About this scholarship

Parish Officer Jens Nielsen and Wife's Scholarship

You will receive approximately 2,900 DKK per month (around 390 EUR) for up to 12 months to help fund your education. The money comes from a Danish foundation which was established in 1901 to support young people from Harndrup Sogn, a parish on West Funen which is now part of the municipality of Middelfart. The foundation pays out a total of around 30,000 DKK each year.

Who can apply

  • Where you are from: You come from Harndrup Sogn (the parish of Harndrup). This is the one hard filter.
  • What it pays for: Your education or studies. A stay at an efterskole (a Danish residential boarding school) does not count.
  • Field of study: Any subject.
  • Grades: Your academic performance will be taken into account in the selection process.

How to apply

Please ask the treasurer for the application form. Once you have completed it, please send it to the foundation’s board. The deadline is 23 November.
