What you get

You will receive a one-off grant to help fund further training in your profession. In February 2025, two scholarship holders each received 10,000 DKK (about 1,340 EUR) for their studies. The money comes from the Ringsted Industrial Association’s Anniversary Fund (Ringsted Industriforenings Jubilæumsfond), an organisation which also includes the Watchmaker H. J. Klint Memorial Foundation (Urmager H.J. Klints Mindefond). It is administered by the Crafts and Industry Association for Ringsted and the Surrounding Area (Håndværker- & Industriforeningen for Ringsted og Omegn).

Who can apply

• Your trade: You are a qualified tradesperson, such as a building technician, a plumber or a painter.
• Link to Ringsted: You completed your vocational training at a company in Ringsted or the surrounding area, or attended the ZBC Ringsted vocational college (formerly EUC / Teknisk Skole Ringsted).
• Further training: You have started an advanced course in your own professional field or are about to start one.
• Nationality: Applicants of any nationality are welcome to apply. What matters is your professional connection to Ringsted.

How to apply

Download the application form from the association’s website. Send it together with a copy of your journeyman’s certificate (svendebrev), proof from your school that you are currently undertaking further training, and a short letter describing your situation. Submit the documents by post or email by 1 December each year. The Executive Committee will review the applications in December and notify each applicant directly.
