About this scholarship
Esther and Jep Finks Commemoration Foundation grant
You will receive a grant of up to 50,000 DKK (about 6,700 EUR) for one of two purposes: a study visit or a study trip (in Denmark or abroad), or the cost of materials for producing works for an exhibition in the field of architecture or crafts. The grant is awarded once a year by the ‘Esther og Jep Finks Mindefond for Arkitektur og Kunsthåndværk’, a Danish foundation administered by Arkitektskolen Aarhus (Aarhus School of Architecture). In the case of study visits, the foundation gives priority to project-related travel that contributes to your own professional development. For exhibitions, preference is given to projects where the grant is crucial to whether the exhibition can take place at all.
Who can apply
- Your qualification: You have completed your training as an architect (cand.arch.) or as a qualified tradesperson. Current students are not eligible to apply.
- Field: You work in the field of architecture or arts and crafts.
- Nationality: All nationalities can apply.
- What you fund it for: A study visit, a trip, or the cost of materials for creating works for an exhibition. The exhibition itself must take place in Denmark, not abroad.
- Timing: Your study visit or exhibition must not begin or open before 10 April of the scholarship year.
- Not covered: Your own salary or fees, group trips, business trips, as well as exhibition venues or galleries. The Foundation supports individuals, not organisations.
