Keld Fredbergs Scholarship

You will receive a sum of one-off payment from HF & VUC FYN Odense, a Danish centre for adult and continuing education. The money is awarded to former students of this centre who have embarked on a higher education course. The exact amount is not disclosed. The total amount is approximately 30,000 DKK (around 4,000 EUR) per year and is divided amongst the selected individuals. The payment is taxable and must be declared in your Danish annual tax return.

Who can apply

• Where you studied before: You completed a qualifying exam (Avu, HF, GIF or Stx) at HF & VUC FYN in Odense. Other VUC locations do not count.
• What you study now: You are enrolled on a higher education course (videregående uddannelse).
• Field of study: Any topic is allowed.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.

How to apply

Please complete the application form (a PDF document available on the provider’s website) and enclose proof of your enrolment at your current university. Please submit your application by email by 24 April 2026. The committee will review the applications, and the scholarship will be awarded in June during the graduation ceremony in Odense.
