About this scholarship

Lemvigh-Müller Foundation study-trip grant

You will receive a one-off grant of 5,000 DKK (about 670 EUR) for a study trip abroad that forms part of your engineering degree. The grant is paid as a one-off sum rather than as a monthly allowance. The IDA (Danish Engineers’ Association) administers the grant through its Study and Support Fund, which is financed by the Lemvigh-Müller Foundation.

Who can apply

  • Who: You are applying either on your own or as a small group of between 2 and 3 people.
  • Your studies: You are an engineering student or a qualified engineer.
  • Field: You study structural (building) engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • Purpose: The money is intended for a study trip abroad that forms part of your degree programme.
  • Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
  • Membership: IDA members are given priority, but membership is not required.

How to apply

Fill in the form and attach your documents in IDA's online grant system. The deadline is 15 March each year. Grants are awarded by draw among the qualified applicants, and you find out through the same system whether you were picked.
