Ringsted Industrial Association's Anniversary Foundation grant

You receive a one-off grant towards further education in your own trade. The amount is decided case by case. In the February 2025 round, 2 recipients each got 10,000 DKK (about 1,340 EUR). Earlier rounds paid up to 20,000 DKK (about 2,680 EUR). The grant comes from the Craftsmen and Industrial Association for Ringsted and Surroundings (Håndværker- & Industriforeningen for Ringsted og Omegn). The association runs this foundation, which was formed by merging three local funds.

Who can apply

• Trade qualification: You hold one of the following documents: a journeyman’s certificate (svendebrev, the Danish certificate awarded upon completion of an apprenticeship), proof that you have passed a journeyman’s examination, or proof that you have completed basic vocational training.
• Further education: You have already started a further education course or a degree programme in your own professional field.
• Link to Ringsted: You have completed your apprenticeship with a company or a master craftsman in or around Ringsted, or you have attended the ZBC Ringsted vocational school (formerly EUC or Teknisk Skole Ringsted). Either of these two requirements is sufficient.
• Nationality: Applicants of any nationality are welcome to apply. What matters is your connection to Ringsted.

How to apply

Please complete the association’s application form and submit it by post or email by 1 December. Please enclose a short letter of motivation. In this, you may also describe your financial situation. The association’s executive committee will decide on all applications in December and will inform you of the result directly.
