About this scholarship
Benefit
You will receive a one-off grant of about 8,000 DKK (around 1,070 EUR). This is intended to fund a short business-related course, a study trip or other work-related expenses. The exact amount may vary from year to year, depending on the fund’s returns. Payment is usually made at the end of June. The grant is earmarked for specific purposes and does not cover the costs of a full degree programme. It was established by a businessman from Horsens and his wife and is linked to the tradition of the town’s commercial college.
Eligibility
- School link: You study at, or have graduated from, the commercial school in Horsens (today part of Learnmark Horsens). You prove this with a diploma, course certificate or transcript.
- Field of study: Applicants from all disciplines are welcome to apply; however, preference will be given to applications with a clear business focus (e.g. in the fields of accountancy, business, marketing or a short international course).
- What the money is for: You have a specific plan, such as a short course, a study visit relevant to your field of study, or specific study-related costs.
- Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
How to apply
There is no standard application form. Please submit a one- to two-page application written in your own words. Please include a brief description of your course or project, a simple budget breakdown and a list of your attachments. The deadline for applications is 1 June.
