Det Nationalhistoriske Museum på Frederiksborg - Mogens Carl Christian Poulsen's Memorial Scholarship for Students of the Art of Sculpture

Benefit

You will receive a sum of one-off payment of 5,000 to 7,000 DKK (about 670 to 940 EUR), which will be paid out in April. Each year, 2 or 3 such payments are awarded. The money comes from a small Danish memorial fund for sculpture students in need of financial support. The fund is administered by the National History Museum at Frederiksborg Castle.

Eligibility

• Field of study: You are studying sculpture. Art history students specialising in sculpture may also apply, but priority is given to sculpture students.
• Age: You are under 35.
• Financial need: You are unable to finance your studies from your own resources and can provide documentary evidence of this.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• Regional link: If two applicants are equally qualified, preference will be given to the one who has attended Frederiksborg Grammar School for at least 2 years. This is an advantage, not a requirement.

How to apply

Please request the application form from the museum that administers the fund. Submit it by 31 January, together with images of your work and documents detailing your financial situation.

If this fund does not suit your situation, you may find a fitting alternative in our guide Scholarships in Denmark.
