University of Málaga - Scholarships for Winners of Science Olympiads

What you get

You will receive a one-off scholarship of 700 EUR if you have won a Science Olympiad and enrol on a bachelor’s degree programme at University of Málaga in Spain. The university funds this scholarship to attract high-achieving school leavers to Málaga. Only a small number of these places are awarded each year.

Who can apply

• What you did: You have won a school science Olympiad organised or co-organised by the University of Málaga, for example in mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology or economics.
• Where you study: You are enrolling on a Bachelor’s degree programme at the University of Málaga.
• Level: You’re starting your first degree – not a master’s or a PhD.
• Nationality: Open to all nationalities.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted via the University of Málaga’s Scholarships Office. The deadline for applications is 15 October.

How realistic are your chances?

The selection criteria for this scholarship are very strict. You must have won one of a select few science Olympiads and subsequently enrol at the University of Málaga; as a result, very few people are eligible, and there are only a handful of places available. If you are one of these winners and enrol on a degree programme at the University of Málaga, your prospects are very good. Apply by the deadline in October, as places are limited.
