About this scholarship

What the International Mobility Scholarship gives you

You will receive 250 EUR per month for up to 10 months to complete part of your degree at a partner university abroad. This covers one semester or a full academic year. The credits earned abroad will be fully recognised towards your degree in Seville. Funding for destinations within the EU is provided through the Erasmus+ exchange programme; destinations outside Europe are funded from the University of Seville’s own budget. You can also apply for a grant from Santander Bank. The scholarship is administered by the University of Seville’s International Mobility Department.

Who can apply

  • Where you study: You are enrolled at the University of Seville, either at one of its faculties or at one of its affiliated centres.
  • Level: You are a Bachelor’s (Grado), Master’s (Máster) or PhD student.
  • Field of study: Every discipline. All faculties and centres are taking part.
  • Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply, provided they are studying at the University of Seville.
  • Language: You hold a recognised CEFR language certificate at the level required by your host university.

How to apply

Apply online via the University’s mobility platform and upload your language certificate before the deadline. The deadline is 9 January. Each partner university sets its own selection criteria. If there are still places available, a second round will take place.

How realistic are your chances?

Only students who are already enrolled at the University of Seville may apply. You are therefore competing within this community and not against the general public. Your actual competitors are other students from Seville who are applying for the same place, and places are generally awarded on the basis of academic merit. If you meet the language requirements, choose destinations that match your academic record and apply within the application period to maximise your chances.
