Becas Santander "Reconocimiento Academico" Fundacion UEMC

You get a one-off payment of 1,000 EUR for starting a bachelor's degree with strong grades. The award comes from the Fundacion Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes together with Banco Santander. Up to 20 scholarships are handed out for the 2026/27 academic year. It rewards good school results, so you do not need to prove financial hardship.

Who can apply

• Where you study: You are enrolled at the Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes (UEMC) in Valladolid, Spain.
• Study level: You are a first-year student, newly enrolled in an on-campus bachelor's degree (Grado Presencial).
• Grades: Your university entry mark is at least 8 out of 10. If you won your place in the first (ordinary) admission round, you are preferred.
• Field of study: Open to all subjects.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• Financial need: Not required. The award is based only on your grades.

How to apply

You apply online through Banco Santander's Santander Open Academy portal. The application window runs from 21 April 2026 to 7 October 2026. Selection is based on your online application and a check of your entry grade. There is no interview.

How realistic are your chances?

This award targets a narrow group: only new first-year students at one specific university with an entry mark of at least 8 out of 10 can apply. That keeps the applicant pool small. With up to 20 scholarships on offer, your prospects are good if you clearly meet the grade threshold, especially if you got your place in the first admission round. Apply well before the October deadline.
