Enrolment grant of the University of Huelva

You will receive financial support from the University of Huelva in Spain for one academic year (12 months) to cover your tuition fees (matrícula, the fee you pay to enrol). The exact amount will be determined on a case-by-case basis to cover or reduce your tuition fees. The university awards this scholarship so that students do not have to drop out of their studies for financial reasons. The scholarship is funded from the university’s own budget as well as from donations from companies, institutions and private donors.

Who can apply

• University: You’re studying at the University of Huelva.
• No ministry grant: You are not currently receiving a grant from the Spanish Ministry of Education (Beca MEFP). This funding is intended for students who are not eligible for this support.
• Financial need: You can prove that you are unable to cover your tuition fees from your own resources.
• Field of study: Anyone interested is welcome to apply.
• Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply, provided they are studying at the University of Huelva.

How to apply

Please complete the application form, sign it and submit it within the application period. For 2025/2026, this ran from 14 January to 3 February 2026. You can submit it in person at the Servicio de Gestión Académica or via the university’s online register. You will receive the result by email.

How realistic are your chances?

This scholarship is very strictly defined. You must be studying at this specific university, demonstrate genuine financial need, and must not have received a scholarship from the Ministry, which means that the pool of eligible applicants is small. If you clearly meet these conditions and can demonstrate your financial need, your chances are good. The number of scholarships depends on the funds raised each year, so please apply in good time.
