What you get

To obtain an official Bachelor’s degree (known as a ‘Grado’ in Spanish) at Antonio de Nebrija University in Madrid, Spain, you will receive a 15% to 40% discount on tuition fees. The exact percentage is determined individually for each student and depends on your family income. The discount is valid for one academic year. You can renew it each year provided you continue your studies and pass all your exams. It covers tuition fees only, not registration or enrolment fees.

Who can apply

• New student: As a new student, you are starting an official Bachelor’s degree (Grado) programme at Nebrija.
• Sporting record: You competed in official competitions in the last two years. You need a certificate from the Spanish national or a regional sports federation to prove it.
• Subject: Any Bachelor's subject at Nebrija.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• Family income: Please provide your family’s most recent income tax return. Your household income affects the amount of your discount.
• Where you study: You are studying directly at Nebrija. Students at affiliated or partner centres are not eligible to apply.

How to apply

Firstly, you must qualify by passing the entrance examinations at Nebrija University. You should then email the completed scholarship application form to the university. Meeting the eligibility criteria entitles you to apply, but does not guarantee that you will be awarded a scholarship. A committee will make the decision based on the available budget and the number of applicants. Its decision is final.

How realistic are your chances?

This funding is aimed at a select group of applicants. You must have a record of competitive sport recognised by the association from the last two years, which very few applicants can provide. If you clearly meet this requirement and are admitted to a degree programme at Nebrija, your chances are good. However, the exact percentage will still depend on the budget, the number of applicants, your sporting achievements and your family income.
