General Description
The Social Work Bursary is tailored for those enrolled in a programme of study concerned with social work.The student must be enrolled at the University of West England. It is mandatory that you complete at least two years of study in the programme to be eligible. The amount awarded is£4,862.50. Bursaries are given to second and third year students unable to work part-time to finance studies. Bursaries will not be given to first year students even if you meet the requirements for travel expenses.The funding for the bursary comes from the National Health Services Business Service Authority.
Requirements
In order to be considered you must meet all the requirements of the Professional Capabilities Framework by the College of Social work. You must also have some field experience. Additional things which may factor into your acceptance are grades and attendance.
