General Description
The University of Sheffield offers cash support to students with a household income of less than £42,000 per year. The student gets the same amount of bursary per year, unless their circumstances change. It is worth up to £1,400 per a year and is paid in installments into the student’s account at the start of each semester. The bursary is offered as follows: £1,400 a year if the household income is £18,000 or under; £1,100 a year if the household income is between £18,001 and £25,000; £750 a year if the household income is between £25,001 and £30,000; £600 a year if the household income is between £30,001 and £35,000; and £500 a year if the household income is between £35,001 and £42,000. Students who have lived in care and young carers receive £1,600 a year.
Requirements
To be eligible students should have an annual household income of £42,000 or less. The bursary is only available to full-time UK students.
