About this scholarship
General Description
The SOAS Progression Award supports new students who live in an area defined as a low participation neighbourhood. The amount of funding provided per student will be up to £2000 (currently about 2410 euro) per academic year, plus a fee discount of £2500 (currently about 3020 euro).Requirements
These bursaries are open to first year students of undergraduate degrees taught at the School of Oriental and African Studies of the University of London. Grantees must meet or exceed academic entry criteria. Candidates must be permanent residents of England; they must live in an area defined as a low participation neighbourhood. Priority will be given to candidates who are the first in their families to undertake a higher education degree.Similar scholarships
