Institut des Amériques - Allowances for doctoral research

General Description

The Institut des Amériques offers grants to support doctoral students writing their PhD theses on a topic related to the Americas. Grantees will be awarded one-off allowances worth 1000 euro.

Requirements

These grants are open to PhD candidates registered at a higher education institution affiliated to the Institut des Amériques. Applicants must be conducting research on a subject matter related to the American continent; priority will be given to candidates on the second year of their PhD who are planning a field research travel to one of the Institut des Amériques' main countries of interest. Applicants must submit a letter of reference from their academic supervisor, a research CV, a summary of their doctoral project and a travel budget.
